Fethiye

Fethiye sits at the head of a wide gulf scattered with islands and bays. The ruins of ancient Telmessos lie around the modern town, and Lycian rock tombs are cut into the cliff above it, visible from the harbor. The Paspatur quarter downtown is the old town and the nightlife hub.

Yassica Islands

The Yassica Islands are five uninhabited islets off Gocek and a standard stop on boat excursions. The water is shallow and calm, and they lie close enough together to swim between.

Cleopatra's Bath

Hamam Bay, known as Cleopatra's Bath, is a pine-backed inlet where the remains of an ancient bath sit at the waterline. You can swim over the submerged walls. Local legend credits the bath to Mark Antony as a wedding gift for Cleopatra.
